Cohen Hosts Korean War 50th Commemoration

Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host commemorative events marking the official start of the 50th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration on Sunday, June 25, 2000, at the Korean War Veterans Memorial, Washington, D.C.

A pre-ceremony will commence at 2 p.m. EDT, followed by the opening ceremony at 4 p.m. with President Clinton as the keynote speaker.

All events are open to the media.
