Background brief on upcoming SECDEF trip to China and Australia
A senior Defense Department official will provide a background briefing on Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen's upcoming trip to the People's Republic of China and Australia. The briefing will be held Thursday, July 6, 2000, at 2 p.m. EDT in the Pentagon's DoD Briefing Room, Room 2E781.
Cohen is scheduled to leave on July 10 and will meet with senior government officials in Beijing, Shanghai and Sydney. Cohen is scheduled to return on July 17.
