CONTRACTS

ARMY

Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $3,144,089 increment as part of a $12,092,545 cost plus fixed fee contract for Electrothermal-Chemical Direct- Fire Gun Technology. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 15 bids solicited on March 4, 1997, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the Defense Special Weapons Agency, Alexandria, Va. (DSWA01-97-C-0086).

AIR FORCE

Pacific Environmental Services, Herndon, Va., is being awarded a $49,200,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for environmental engineering services for the 88th Air Base Wing and the Aeronautical Systems Center Offices of Environmental Management, both at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Contract is expected to be completed September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 46 proposals received. Solicitation began November 1996; negotiations were completed March 1997. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio., is the contracting activity (F33601-97/D-W005).

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $9,800,000 cost reimbursement contract to provide for engineering, modification, and upgrade support for the Multiple Object Tracking Radar, which is used on various Department of Defense ranges. Contract is expected to be completed October 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began May 1996; negotiations were completed February 1997. This effort supports foreign military sales to Great Britain. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04606-97/D- 0063).

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $25,481,724 firm-fixed-price, incentive-fee contract for Communication/Navigation Survivability Upgrade and Service Life Extension Program (NCSU/SLEP) for the Executive Helicopter Program. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by March 2000. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity. N00019-96- C-0165).

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Findlay, Ohio, is being awarded a $2,823,943 modification to previously awarded contract N68711-93-D-1459 for environmental remedial action to provide all services, labor, equipment and materials required for removal and replacement installation of underground storage tanks, oil water separators, and fuel supply piping for three related projects at Naval Air Station Miramar, San Diego, Calif. The basic total contract amount is not-to-exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Findlay, Ohio, is being awarded a $4,195,818 modification to previously awarded contract N68711-93-D-1459 to provide all services, labor, equipment and materials required to accomplish environmental remediation of designated Resource Conservation and Recovery Act closure sites, above-ground storage tanks and oil/water separators located at various sites at the Marine Corps Air Station, Tustin, Calif. The basic total contract amount is not-to-exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed in Tustin, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.
