CONTRACTS
AIR FORCE
Technical and Management Services, Calverton, Md., was
awarded on April 7, a $5,290,802 face value increase to a firm
fixed price contract to provide for management of repair and
modification of the F-15 aircraft.
The work will be performed at
TAMSCO's local facility in Warner Robins, Ga.
Contract is
expected to be completed May 2002.
Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This effort
supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia.
Warner Robins
Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting
activity (F09603-97/C-0210).
Boeing North American, Inc., Anaheim, Calif., was awarded on
April 7, a $23,100,000 face value increase to a cost plus fixed
fee contract to provide for material and support to insure the
integrity of the Low Rate Initial Production schedules for the
Guidance Replacement Program in support of the Minuteman III
missile.
Contract is expected to be completed September 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the
contracting activity (F04704-93/C-0020, P00051).
Boeing North American, Inc., Duluth, Ga., is being awarded a
$31,287,645 firm fixed price contract to provide for 72 AGM-130S
built from government furnished components.
Contract is expected
to be completed June 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year.
There was one firm solicited and
one proposal received.
Solicitation began January 1997;
negotiations were competed March 1997.
Aeronautical Systems
Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-97/C-
0110).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Bergen Brunswig Drug Co., Orange, Calif., is being awarded a
$19,273,367 firm fixed price modified requirements contract for
pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program.
One hundred ten
proposals were solicited and six were received.
Work will be
performed in Mobile, Ala.; Shreveport, La.; Montgomery, Ala.; and
Meridian, Miss. and is expected to be completed by April 7, 1998.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.
The Defense
Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting
activity (SP0200-94-D-7006).
ARMY
Bell Constructors Inc., Rochester, N.Y., was awarded on
April 7, 1997, a $26,939,900 firm fixed price contract for the B-
1 Beddown Project.
This effort requires construction to include
relocation of taxiway; aircraft apron; roads; underground
utilities; petroleum, oil, lubricant (POL) facility; Consolidated
Aircraft Support System, and demolition work.
Work will be
performed at the Georgia Air National Guard, Robins Air Force
Base, Ga., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
There were 108 bids solicited on Nov. 20, 1996, and 12
bids were received.
The contracting activity is the National
Guard Bureau, Atlanta, Ga. (DAHA09-97-C-0006).
Capco Inc.*, Grand Junction, Colo., is being awarded a
$5,094,384 modification to a firm fixed price contract for the
evaluated option requirement of 24,144 each M16A1 Rifle
Modification Kits in support of the M16A2 Rifle.
Work will be
performed in Grand Junction, Colo., and is expected to be
completed by April 28, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 65 bids solicited
on May 11, 1995, and five bids were received.
The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command,
Rock Island, Ill. (DAAE20-95-C-0377).
