AIR FORCE
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Mo., was awarded on
April 15, a $7,215,000 undefinitized contractual action contract
to support a Foreign Military Sales program and provides for
manufacture, testing, packing and shipment of F-15S aircraft
parts for use in Royal Saudi Air Force Weapon System Trainers #2
and #3.
Contract is expected to be completed August 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
There was one firm solicited and one proposal received.
Negotiations were completed April 1997.
This effort supports
foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia.
Ogden Air Logistics
Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity
(F42630-97/C-0198).
Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a
$47,138,683 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract
to provide for an Earned Award Fee for the Engineering &
Manufacturing Development Contract for F-22 production.
Contract
is expected to be completed September 2002.
Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Aeronautical
Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the
contracting activity (F33657-91/C-0006, P00295).
Earned Award Fee to United Technologies Corp., West Palm
Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $5,292,783 face value increase to
a cost-plus-award-fee contract to cover period 12 of the
Engineering and Manufacturing Development contract for the F-119
engine.
Contract is expected to be completed May 2002.
Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base,
Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-91/C-0007, P00151).
Boeing North American, Inc., Anaheim, Calif., is being
awarded a $10,000,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-
fee contract to authorize the contractor to perform the MK-21
proof of concept to verify the Minuteman III guidance
replacement.
Contract is expected to be completed September
1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the
contracting activity (F04704-93/C-0020, P00053).
NAVY
Raytheon Electronic Systems, Sudbury, Mass., is being
awarded a $38,232.114 firm-fixed-priced contract for the
production of 238 AIM/RIM-7P Guidance Control Sections, 113 AIM
Wings and ancillary supplies, 133 RIM Wings and ancillary
supplies, 188 Vertical Launch Kits, and 60 AIM/RIM-7M to 7P
Upgrade Kits for NATO (23%), and the governments of Singapore
(2%), Korea (19%), Turkey (16%), Spain (38%), Bahrain (.5%),
Kuwait (1%), and Malaysia (.5%), under the Foreign Military Sales
(FMS) Program.
Work will be performed in Boston, Mass., and is
expected to be completed by January 2000.
Contract funds would
not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year.
This
contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited
and two offers received.

Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0126).
Lockheed Martin Wideband Systems, Salt Lake City, Utah, is
being awarded a $10,358,893 firm-fixed-price contract for
Predator Medium Altitude Endurance UAV Satellite Air Data
Terminals, Ground Support Equipment, Spares, and Technical Data.
Work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is expected
to be completed by June 1998.
Contract funds do not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year.
