CONTRACTS
Continental Foods, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a
$8,800,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for full
line food distribution for military medical and dining
facilities. Sixty five proposals were solicited and seven were
received. Work is expected to be completed by May 9, 1998.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense
Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting
activity (SP0300-95-D-2838).
AIR FORCE
CORRECTION: On May 2, we announced the following as a firm fixed
price contract. It should have been an ID/IQ contract. This is
the corrected version:
International Data Products, Gaithersburg, Md., is being
awarded a $729,010,929 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract to provide for an estimated 360,000 computer systems
including portables, desktop systems, advanced desktops,
software, peripherals, and upgrades, including life cycle support
services. This effort is part of the Desktop V procurement.
Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.
At this time, $120,000 of the contract funds have been obligated.
Contract is expected to be completed May 2002. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 118 firms solicited and 10 proposals received. Solicitation
began July 1995; negotiations were completed October 1996.
Standard Systems Group, Maxwell AFB, Ala., is the contracting
activity (F1620-97/D-0001).
NAVY
Lockheed Martin Missile and Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is
being awarded a $14,896,730 cost-plus-fixed-fee, level-of-effort
contract to provide for technical services to support the United
Kingdom Trident II and Polaris (A3) programs under the Foreign
Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in
Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 1998.
Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's
Strategic Systems Program, Washington, D.C., is the contracting
activity (N00030-976-C-0046).
