CONTRACTS
Tennessee Wholesale Drug Co.*, Nashville, Tenn., is being
awarded a $35,203,975 firm fixed price contract for
pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. Six proposals
were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in
Huntsville, Ala.; Tampa, Fla.; and Nashville, Tenn., and is
expected to be completed by May 12, 1998. Funds will not expire
at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support
Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-94-
D-7007).
ARMY
GRC Inc., Vienna, Va., is being awarded a cost plus fixed
fee contract with a cumulative total of $22,255,361 for technical
support services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense
(Policy Analysis & Evaluation), for Joint Warfare System (JWARS)
development. Work will be performed in the Pentagon, Washington,
D.C., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2002.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 48 bids solicited on Sept. 27, 1996, and three
bids were received. The contracting activity is the Defense
Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-97-D-0040).
CACI Inc. Federal, Arlington, Va., is being awarded a cost
plus fixed fee contract with a cumulative total of $18,922,749
for technical support services for the Office of the Secretary of
Defense (Policy Analysis & Evaluation), for Joint Warfare System
(JWARS) development. Work will be performed in the Pentagon,
Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by April 30,
2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 48 bids solicited on Sept. 27, 1996, and
three bids were received. The contracting activity is the
Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-97-D-
0041).
AIR FORCE
Northrop Grumman Corp., Pico Rivera, Calif., is being
awarded a $490,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract to provide for the Multi-Stage Improvement Program for
the B-2 aircraft. This program will acquire various enhancements
and improvements for the B-2 aircraft. Contract is expected to
be completed May 2002. Funds will be obligated as individual
delivery orders are issued. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. At this time, $64,300,000 of
the contract funds have been obligated. There was one firm
solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began February
1997; negotiations were completed April 1997. Aeronautical
Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting
activity (F33657-97/D-0012).
Hughes Training, Inc., Dallas/Ft. Worth International
Airport, Texas, is being awarded a $204,600,000 indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for basic,
exploratory, and advanced development warfighter training
research in support of the Armstrong Laboratory, Warfighter
Training Research Division, Mesa, Arizona. This effort will
include research into all aspects of weapon system simulation and
warfighter training devices and methods. The work will be
performed at Armstrong Laboratory, Mesa, Ariz. Contract is
expected to be completed May 2003. Funds will be obligated as
individual delivery orders are issued. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. At this time,
$3,456,809 of the contract funds have been obligated. There were
75 firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began
February 1997; negotiations were completed April 1997. Human
Systems Center, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity
(F41624-97/D-5000).
Northrop Grumman Corp., Baltimore, Md., is being awarded an
$11,835,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to
provide for six APG-68 (V)5 radar systems applicable to the F-16
aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed January 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. At this time, $5,279,512 of the contract funds have been
obligated. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB,
Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98/C-2074, P00004).
Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded
a $74,016,683 face value increase to a cost plus fixed fee
contract to provide for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack
Radar System (JSTARS) Computer Replacement Program. This program
will develop a new product baseline by modifying the E-8C design
through incorporation of replacements for the Central Computers.
Contract is expected to be completed November 1999. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. At
this time, $27,049,000 of the contract funds have been obligated.
Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting
activity (F19628-90/C-0197, P00106).
NAVY
Telos Systems Integration, Ashburn, Va., is being awarded a
$7,751,520 firm-fixed-price contract for Advanced Tomahawk Weapon
Control System (ATWCS) Hardware components for the Track Control
Group (TCG) Production and Launch Control Group (LCG) LRIP
requirements. This contract includes options which, if
exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to
$15,492,368. Work will be performed in Ashburn, Va., and is
expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract
was competitively procured by a full and open competition with 41
proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Air
Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity
(N00019-96-C-0018).
Hughes Training, Inc., Herndon, Va., is being awarded a
$12,625,564 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-
C-0188 to update one MV-22 Operational Flight Trainer (OFT)
Device 2F151 and one Cockpit Procedures Trainer Device 2C71 and
to procure technical, administrative and financial data, and
logistics support. Work will be performed in Herndon, Va., and
is expected to be completed by June 1999. Contract funds would
not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The
Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting
activity.
Roxco, Limited, Brandon, Miss., is being awarded a
$5,424,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction
of a Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ), demolition of an existing
building, and removal/disposal of hazardous materials at the
Naval Support Activity, New Orleans, La. Work will be performed
in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by October
1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 35
proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval
Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North
Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-95-C-1156).
Hunt Building Corp., El Paso, Texas, is being awarded a
$6,747,597 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for wholehouse
repair and design of the revitalization of 408 family housing
units at the Murphy Canyon Heights Housing area in San Diego,
Calif. The potential total contract amount is not-to-exceed
$24,432,911. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is
expected to be completed by July 1999. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured with 400 proposals solicited and seven
offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command,
Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting
activity (N68711-96-C-2242).
Lockheed-Martin Integrated Systems, Syracuse, N.Y. is being
awarded a $15,897,466 modification to previously awarded contract
N00024-96-C-6300 to exercise an option for four AN/SQQ-89V(14)
Sonar Systems. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y. (10%);
Americus, Ga. (75%); and Norfolk, Va. (15%); and is expected to
be completed by May 2000. Contract funds would not have expired
at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems
Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
Lockheed Martin Services Group, Cherry Hill, N.J., is being
awarded an $18,641,289 one year cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-
quantity/indefinite-delivery contract for Integrated Ship Defense
engineering, technical and logistics services for the Port
Hueneme Division Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme,
Calif. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would
bring the cumulative value of this contract to $90,342,697. Work
will be performed in Port Hueneme, Calif. (30%); Norfolk, Va.
(30%); San Diego, Calif. (30%); Bremerton, Wash. (4%);
Pascagoula, Miss. (4%); and Yokosuka, Japan (2%), and is expected
to be completed by May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured with 55 proposals solicited and three
offers received. The Port Hueneme Division Naval Surface Warfare
Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity (N63394-
97-D-1210).
