AIR FORCE
Decson Construction Co., McAllen, Texas, is being awarded a
$8,010,384 firm fixed price contract to provide for design and
construction of a commissary at Lemoore Naval Air Station, Calif.
Contract is expected to be completed July 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 90 firms solicited and two proposals received. Solicitation
began June 1996; negotiations were completed May 1997. Air
Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Texas, is the
contracting activity (F41689-97/C-0253).
Lockheed Martin Corp., Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a
$91,104,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to
provide for one Atlas IIAS commercial space launch vehicle. The
work will be performed at Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch
Services, Littleton, Colo. (55%); United Technologies Corp., West
Palm Beach, Fla. (25%) and at various other locations. Contract
is expected to be completed May 2000. At this time, $9,110,400
of the total contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and
Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Los Angeles, Calif. is
the contracting activity (F04701-96/C-0002, P00007).
McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a
$12,393,861 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for design
and development support for an unguided flight test of a hybrid
tail/reaction jet control on the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air
Missile (AMRAAM) host frame. Contract is expected to be
completed June 2002. At this time, $141,960 of the total
contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two
proposals received. Negotiations were completed May 1997.

NAVY
McDonnell Douglas Corp., McDonnell Aircraft Co., St. Louis,
Mo., is being awarded a $1,267,600,000 modification to previously
awarded contract N00019-96-C-0065 to provide full funding for the
Fiscal Year 1997 Low Rate Initial Production of eight F/A-18E and
four F/A-18F aircraft and associated hardware and initial spares
and data. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (64%), and
Hawthorne, Calif. (36%), and is expected to be completed by April
2000. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington,
Va., is the contracting activity.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Reinhart Institutional Foods, Inc., Oak Creek, Wis., is
being awarded a $16,000,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity
contract for full line food distribution. Ninety proposals were
solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be
completed by June 8, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of
the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,
