DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Cameron & Barkley Company, Charleston, S.C., is being awarded a $58,000,000 fixed price with economic price adjustment indefinite quantity contract for facilities maintenance supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Forty proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by September 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Industrial Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0500-97-D-0063).

ARMY

ICF Kaiser Engineers Inc., Fairfax, Va. was awarded on June 17, 1997, a $9,000,000 cost plus incentive fee task order amount against a $28,183,196 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for environmental remediation of contamination in soil and groundwater at Southern Maryland Wood Treatment Site, using a thermal treatment process, "Low Temperature Thermal Desorption." Work will be performed in Hollywood, Md., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 17, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md. (DACA31-95-D-0083).

Primex Technologies Inc., St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a modification as a definitization of a cost plus fixed fee letter contract with a not-to-exceed cumulative total of $6,302,794 (if all options are exercised), for program definitization and risk reduction for the 120mm M829E3 Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot-Tracer (APFSDS-T) cartridge. Work will be performed in Flinchbaugh, Penn. (75%); and St. Petersburg, Fla. (25%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 23, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 23, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30-97-C-1007).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Display Systems, Alpharetta, Ga., is being awarded an $8,770,597 modification to a previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0059 to procure 16 Programmable Tactical Information Displays (PTIDs), integrated logistics support, repair parts, support equipment, data, and software for the F-14 A/B Upgrade Program. Work will be performed in Atlanta , Ga., and is expected to be completed by November 1999. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Trataros Construction Inc., Brooklyn, N.Y., is being awarded a $10,000,000 fixed-price-indefinite-quantity job order contract to provide construction, alterations and repair of Federal Government facilities and installations. Work will be performed in Puerto Rico (85%), and in the Caribbean Area (15%), and is expected to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 66 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-97-D-9998).

Kilgallon Construction Co., Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $12,375,202 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a general purpose warehouse and all incidental related work at Naval Station, San Diego. Work will be performed San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 60 proposals solicited and twelve offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-96-C-2316).

Logicon, Inc., Tactical Systems Div., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $13,840,835 cost-type contract for the NATO Improved Link Eleven (NILE) Design and Development Subphase 2. This is a collaborative project to design a system consisting of a computer to computer digital data link among Tactical Data Systems (TDS) equipped ships, submarines, aircraft and shore sites which meet the requirements of the NATO Staff Requirement. The system will increase timeliness of the tactical information transfer and transmission of high priority warning and force orders in a dense and hostile communications environment. This acquisition will develop common specifications, which will permit the participants to implement appropriate Link 22 equipment. The acquisition also includes government purpose rights in data and computer software. This contract includes fixed-priced options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $15,498,504. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (20%); Italy (20%); United Kingdom (20%); France (10%); and Carlsbad, Calif. (30%), and is expected to be completed by May 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was a limited competition with four offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-97-C-0084).

Raytheon Electronic Systems, Portsmouth, R.I., is being awarded an $11,389,225 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the development of the AN/BGS-1, formerly known as the Nuclear Tomahawk Land Attack Missile Portable Launch System (TLAM-N PLS), to be installed on SSN 688 and NSSN class submarines. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, R.I. (84%), and Manassas, Va. (16%), and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 60 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-6240).

York International Inc., York, Pa., is being awarded a $24,949,300 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for Navy Centrifugal Compressor Air Conditioning Plants Engineering Modification services. Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $2,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-97-D-0033).

Primex Technologies, Inc., Downey, Calif., is being awarded a $7,669,617 cost-plus-fixed-fee-supply contract for various assemblies and subassemblies of the Distributed Explosive Technology system. Work will be performed in Downey, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 30 proposals solicited and three offers received. Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $98,600,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract for AEGIS Combat Systems Engineering in support of the Spanish F-100 program under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Moorsetown, N.J. (90%), and Ferrol, Spain (10%), and is expected to be completed by February 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
