DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Coastal Refining & Marketing, Miami, Fla., is being awarded an estimated $34,917,666 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for commercial marine gas oil. Two hundred forty one proposals were solicited and thirty six were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-97-D-0143).

TRICARE SUPPORT OFFICE

Humana Military Healthcare Services, of Louisville, KY, is being awarded an $81,284,280 firm fixed price, indemnity insurance contract for limited dental care for members of the Selected Reserve of the Ready Reserve who enroll in the TRICARE Selected Reserve Dental Program. The contract provides for a basic period of one year, plus four one-year option periods. Delivery of services under the contract will begin on Oct. 1, 1997. The TRICARE Support Office, Aurora, Colorado, is the contracting activity (MDA906-97-R-0001).

NAVY

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Aiea, Hawaii, is being awarded a $2,870,370 modification to previously awarded contract N62742-93-D-0610 for environmental remedial action which includes services, labor, equipment and materials required for interim removal actions involving underground storage tanks, petroleum contamination within a revetment, and debris in receiving water on Wake, Wilkes and Peale Islands in the Pacific Ocean. The basic contract amount is not-to-exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed on Wake, Wilkes, and Peale Islands in the Pacific Ocean, and is expected to be completed by February 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.

T.B. Penick and Sons, Escondido, Calif., is being awarded a $7,744,609 firm-fixed-price contract to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a 4,087 square meter Water Survival Training Tank, the demolition of 20 quonset huts, and all incidental related work at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calif. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by November 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 31 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-95-C-7743).

Battlespace, Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $5,065,658 cost-plus-fixed-fee term contract for engineering services to support the development of an interoperable Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Tactical Control System (TCS). Work will be performed in Arlington, Va. (80%), San Diego, Calif. (10%), and Norfolk, Va. (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-97-C-2021).

TRW Systems Division, Systems Engineering Group, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $5,447,203 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-91-C-6456 to exercise an option to provide Contractor Support Services for the Amphibious Warfare Program Office. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Science Applications International Corp., (SAIC), MariPro Div., Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $5,760,302 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the development and installation of the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Hydrophone Replacement Program (AHRP) at Andros Island in the Bahamas. Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif. (75%), and Andros Island, Bahamas (25%), and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 32 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-97-C-0347).

AIR FORCE

C.B.D./Dolver, Sacramento, California, is being awarded a 25,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for Environmental actions at McClellan Air Force Base, Calif. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in February 1997 and negotiations were completed in June 1997. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan AFB, Calif. is the contracting activity. (F04699-97-D-0107).

Mission Research Corporation, Santa Barbara County, California, is being awarded a $13,965,855 cost-plus award fee contract for Generic Radar Target Generators. Contract is expected to be completed in June 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in February 1997. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. is the contracting activity (F04611-97-C-0009).

ARMY

Calibers Systems, Inc., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task order contract with a cumulative total of $17,525,820 for the Cost/Economic Research System, Operation and Support Program, It will require three major tasking segments: (1) Developing new and / or improved data base, including data collection, mapping, analysis, normalization, and data base implementation;(2) Development cost estimating relationships, cost factors, costing methodologies, and cost models, and (3) Conducting special cost analysis studies. Nine (9) programs will utilize the tasking segments, they are Aircraft Systems, Missile and Space Systems, Wheel and Tracked Vehicle Systems, Missile and Space Systems, Wheel and Management Systems.. Work will be performed in Falls Church, Va., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 26, 2002. There were 50 bids solicited on Nov. 29, 1996, and one bid received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service, Washington, D.C. (DASWO1-97-D-0052).

Alliant Techsystems, Inc., Hopkins, Minn., is being awarded an $14, 761,598 modification to a firm-fixed-price add-on-award contract for 25mm ammunition cartridge in the quantity of 1,211,490 in support of Bradley Fighting vehicles. Work will be performed in Hopkins, Minn., (40%) and Joliet, Ill., (60%) and is expected to be completed by Jan. 28, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on May 18, 1997, and two bids were received.. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill (DAAA09-95-C-0061).

Primex Technologies, Marion, Ill., is being awarded an $14,780,178 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 25mm ammunition cartridge in the quantity of 1,211,490 in support of Bradley Fighting vehicles. Work will be performed in Marion, Ill., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on May 18, 1997, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill (DAAA09-95-C-0062).

Raytheon E-Systems, Richardson, Texas, is being awarded a $8,174,570 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 23 High Mobility Trailer-light, 350 High Mobility Trailer-Heavy, 598 Heavy Chassis, and 590 Tactical Quiet Generator Kit. Work will be performed in Richardson, Texas and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1998. Contract funds will not

expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 19, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-94-C-R014).

Ronco, Ltd., Brandon Kan., is being awarded a $11,470,800 firm-fixed-price contract for demolition of 86 family housing units, with asbestos abatement prior to demolition, and the construction of replacement of 88 new family units. Units are duplexes, 3-plexes, and 4-plexes. The building are wood frame, slabs on grade, with composition shingled roofs, and vinyl siding, windows are refinished aluminum with insulating glass. Exterior doors are insulated steel. Work will be performed at Fort Riley, Kansas, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 64 bids solicited on Sep. 26, 1996, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers (DACA41-97-C-0025).

M.A. Mortenson Company, Federal Contracting, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $5,449,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of dining facility at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. Work will be performed at Grand Fork Air Force Base, N.D., and is expected to be completed by Dec.2, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 38 bids solicited on May 19, 1997 and three bids were received. The contract activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb. (DACA45-97-C-0055).

General Dynamics Land Systems, Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $37,475,779 (cumulative total) delivery order contract for catalog price list of spare parts for the M1A2 Abrams Tank. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sep. 27, 1996. The contracting activity is the Armament and Chemical Acquisition and Logistics Activity, Rock Island, Ill. (daae20-97-d-0002).
