Sarnoff Corporation, Princeton, N.J., is being awarded an estimated $39,445,179 cost- plus-fixed-fee contract for the Advanced Microcircuit Emulation program. Mobil International Aviation & Marine Sales, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $14,773,500 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for marine gasoil. Two hundred sixty-one proposals were solicited and thirty-six were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. NAVY

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $50,000,000 advance acquisition contract for Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) II of F414-GE-400 Engines for the F/A-18E/F aircraft, including related modules, devices, and engineering services. The exact quantity of engines to be procured in FY-98 will be in accordance with the final resolution of the National Defense Authorization Act and the Department of Defense Appropriation Act for FY 1998. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (58%); Evendale, Ohio (25%); Rutland, Vt. (4%); Albuquerque, N.M. (4%); Hooksett, N.H. (3%); Madisonville, Ky. (4%); and Wilmington, Del. Marshall Co., Corpus Christi, Texas, is being awarded an $8,110,054 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (Phase III) at Naval Station, Ingleside, Texas. Phase III includes construction of five two-story and four three-story dormitory buildings, one one-story lounge/laundry facility, parking lots, and all associated site improvements. Work will be performed in Ingleside, Texas, and is expected to be completed by November 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Wick Constructors, Inc., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $9,700,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) at Naval Station, Everett, Wash. Construction includes a 74-suite (148-room), four-story BEQ, indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, landscaping, utilities and other site improvements. Work will be performed in Everett, Wash., and is expected to be completed by January 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Communications & Powers Industries, San Carlos, Calif., is being awarded a $5,079,739 delivery order for 1,714 double-duty switch tubes to be used as spare parts for the Aegis Weapons System. Northrop Grumman Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a $278,475,000 firm-fixed-price contract to expand the long-lead advance procurement contract by adding the full procurement effort for Joint STARS Production Lot V. Contract is expected to be completed in August 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in June 1996 and negotiations were completed in June 1997. McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $9,569,910 cost-plus-award-fee contract for F-15 Suite 4 Operational Flight Program software design. Contract is expected to be completed in July 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in February 1997 and negotiations were completed in June 1997. Nello Construction Co., Carnegie, Pa., is being awarded a $9,478,402 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a new Equipment Concentration Site (ECS), Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) and warehouse. The project consists of two pre-engineered metal/cmu buildings with spread concrete foundations. AMSA will house 16 maintenance bays. Other functional areas include administration offices, a technical library, an arms vault, tools, supplies and break and rest rooms. Additional features include military equipment parking, security fencing and lighting, washrack, fuel point, stormwater retention, one acre of wetland mitigation, parking lots, access roads, utilities, heating, ventilating and air conditioning and information systems. Work will be performed in Geneva, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 14, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., Oak Brook, Ill., is being awarded a $3,312,000 increment as part of a $4,945,000 (potential value $6,295,000 if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for beachfill (filling the beach with sand) at Great Egg Harbor Inlet, Peck Beach. Work will be performed in Ocean City, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 11, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
