AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $6,500,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for integration of the Band 1.5 hardware into the AN/ALQ-135 Internal Countermeasures Set applicable to the F-15 aircraft. This effort includes aircraft design, integration design, test, evaluation, and associated contractor support. Contract is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Solicitation began April 1997; negotiations were completed October 1997. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/C-2050).

ARMY

Systems & Electronics Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $11,200,000 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for additional work on M1000W Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) Semitrailers (Israeli configuration), 37 each with supporting items. Work will be performed in West Plains**, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Nov 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 7, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X100).

Dillingham-ABB SUSA, a joint venture, Pleasanton, Calif., is being awarded a $6,209,969 firm-fixed-price contract for facility support services at Peace Vector IV Air Base, Egypt. Work will be performed in Sakara, Egypt, and is expected to be completed by July 15, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 25 bids solicited on Nov. 20, 1996, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va. (DACA78-97-C-0012).
