AIR FORCE

Arcata Associates, Inc., Las Vegas, Nev., is being awarded a $5,096,235 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for FY 1998 technical engineering support services for the Air Warfare Center Range Complex, Nellis AFB, Nevada. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, Nev. is the contracting activity (F26600-95/C-0033, P00035).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $7,072,945 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for Phase one of the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources Parts Procurement in support of Low Rate Initial Production (Lots 1-5) of the F-22 aircraft. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-91/C-0006, P00313).

ARMY

GRC Inc., Vienna, Va., is being awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with a cumulative total of $8,204,968 for technical support services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Program Analysis and Evaluation), to support the Mobility Modeling Program. Work will be performed in the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 17, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 37 bids solicited on May 27, 1997, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-97-D-0111).

Thiokol Corp., Defense and Launch Vehicle Division, Brigham City, Utah, is being awarded a $1,649,110 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise Option 1 of a non-developmental item, 500 rocket motors (2.75 inch) for the HYDRA-70 Rocket Motor Product Improvement Program. Work will be performed in Brigham City, Utah, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 10, 2002. Of the total contract funds $1,560,058 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 21 bids solicited on July 9, 1996, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (Prov.), Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-97-C-R088).
