DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Amoco Energy Trading Co., Houston, Texas, was awarded on Sept. 8, 1997, a $27,997,339 firm-fixed price-fixed-price-with-economic-price adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas. Four hundred sixty-six proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-97-D-7541).

Natural Gas Clearinghouse, Oak Brook, Ill., was awarded on Sept. 8, 1997, a $9,806,142 firm-fixed price fixed-price-with-economic-price adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas. Four hundred sixty-six proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-97-D-7537).

ARMY

United Defense, LP, Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being awarded a $45,670,682 firm-fixed-price contract for 51 M9 Armored Combat Earth Movers (ACE). Work will be performed in York, Pa. (67%); and Aiken, S.C. (33%), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 11, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-X071).

NAVY

Harper/Nielsen Dillingham Builders (a joint venture), San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $15,700,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide the design, engineering, and construction of a Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) and dining facility at Naval Auxiliary Field, San Clemente Island, Calif. The BEQ facility will consist of approximately 75 one and two-story living unit

modules and a common building. The dining facility will be a one-story structure. Work will be performed at San Clemente Island, Calif., and is expected to be completed by November 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 20 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-95-C-7560).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Electronics and Systems Integration Div., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $13,327,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of seven Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Electro-Optics+ (EO+) low rate initial production units and associated EO+ spares. Work will be performed in Rolling Meadows, Ill., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-97-C-0151).

C. E. Wylie Construction Co., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $6,715,000 firm-fixed-price contract for rehabilitation of Bachelor Enlisted Quarters, Area 43, Building 43258 and 43259M at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Calif. Work will be performed in Oceanside, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 26 proposals solicited and 13 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-97-C-8333).
