DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc., Boston, Mass., is being awarded an $11,672,500 firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for running sneaker shoes. Twenty proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Lawrence, Mass.; and Norridgewock, Maine; and is expected to be completed by June 8, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO100-97-D- 0342).

Woodward Marketing, LLC, Franklin, Tenn., was awarded a $6,333,137 firm-fixed-price, fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas on Sept. 8, 1997. Four hundred sixty-six proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-97-D-7538).

Enron Capital & Trade Resources, Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded $5,004,853 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for direct supply natural gas. Four hundred sixty-six proposals were solicited and fifty-one were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600- 97-D-7533).

AIR FORCE

SoBran, Inc., was awarded on September 10, an $8,000,000 time-and-materials contract to provide for System Engineering and Technical Support through September 2001 for programs involving explosive cartridge activated devices and propellant activated devices, guided missiles, guided and unguided bombs, flares, chaff, rockets, ammunition, aircraft fuel tanks, drones, chemical munitions, support equipment, and explosive ordnance disposal items. This effort will include project, configuration, and logistics management, acquisition support, system

engineering, quality assurance and weapon safety. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Contract is expected to be completed September 2001. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-97/D-0285).

Rockwell International Crop., was awarded on September 10, $27,500,000 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive-firm contract to provide for design and prototyping effort to support incorporation of a Ground Collision Avoidance System and integration of the Traffic Avoidance and Collision Alert System into the cockpit controls and displays being acquired for C/KC-135 aircraft. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-96/C-0001, P00027).

ARMY

Jaynes Corp., Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $5,927,009 firm-fixed-price contract for design/construction of a new 42,000 sq. foot, two-story Logistic Administration Facility. The project will include asbestos abatement, building parking lots, curb and gutters, sidewalks, pedestrian bridges over a storm drainage structure, landscaping, mechanical and electrical systems. Work will be performed at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 5, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 67 bids solicited on April 17, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, N.M. (DACA47-97-C-0022).

NAVY

Texas Instruments, Inc., Lewisville, Texas, is being awarded a $6,265,750 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0167 to procure 21 AN/GSM-396 Guided Missile Launcher Test Sets (GMLTS) with RF testing capability and/or Aircraft Launcher Interface Computer (ALIC) testing and reprogramming capability for the U.S. Air Force (18), and the Governments of Greece (2) and Spain (1); 29 GMLTS-RF testing modification kits for the US Air Force; 2 GMLTS-ALIC modification kits and 1 maintenance training kit for the Government of Greece; 1 maintenance training kit for the Government of Spain; and spare and repair parts, technical manuals and interactive training for both governments. Work will be performed at Lewisville, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds in the amount of $4,119,622 will have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Air Force (75.5%) and the Governments of Greece (14%) and Spain (10.5%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Findlay, Ohio, is being awarded a $1,745,357 modification to previously awarded contract N68711-93-D-1459 for environmental remedial action which provides for all services, labor, equipment and materials required for Ground Water Remediation Pilot Testing at Installation Restoration Program Site 24 - Volatile Organic

Compound Source Area at the Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, Calif. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed at Santa Ana, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-93-D-1459).

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

Oracle Corporation, Bethesda, Maryland, was awarded on August 29, 1997 a firm-fixed price commercial item contract to support the Defense Megacenters for software consolidation. The contract is for one base year, August 29, 1997 through August 28, 1998. The contract amount is $6,219,413 for a base period (12 months) with four one-year options. The total life cycle of this contract is $14,353,494. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization is the contracting activity (DCA200-97-D-0074).
