DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Owens & Minor, Inc., Glen Allen, Va., is being awarded a $39,043,285 firm-fixed-price modified-requirements contract for medical/surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Bridgeton, N.J.; Savage, Md.; and Allentown, Pa.; and is expected to be completed by Oct. 26, 1998. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-97-D-7128/7129/7130/7132).

Ssangyong (U.S.A.) Inc., Paramus, N.J., is being awarded a $66,563,200 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Seventy-three proposals were solicited and eleven were received. Work will be performed in overseas locations and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-98-D-0457).

McKesson Drug Company, San Francisco, Calif., is being awarded a $10,316,578 firm-fixed-price modified-requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred forty-four proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Everett, Wash., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 11, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-94-D- 7002).

Ashland Chemical Co., Dublin, Ohio, is being awarded a $6,424,828 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for a fuel system icing inhibitor (F811). Two hundred forty-eight proposals were solicited and six were received. Work is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. ARMY

BDM International Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a time and materials, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with an estimated not-to-exceed total of $28,676,170 (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), for technical non-personal services/engineering services. Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Va. (50%); and McLean, Va. (50%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 22, 1998. There was an announcement on the electronic bulletin board on July 30, 1997, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-98-D-H751).

Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a time and materials, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with an estimated not-to-exceed total of $29,564,665 (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), for technical non-personal services/engineering services. ASM Research Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a requirements/delivery order contract with a cumulative total of $6,197,895 (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), for the acquisition of information technology services for the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of Personnel (ODCSPER), in support of the Personnel Authorization Module System (PAM) project. This will provide ODCSPER with the capability to develop and evaluate current and projected personnel authorizations generated by the force structure during the program years, as well as maintain dedicated and integrated access to critical force structure, manpower, demographics, and mobilization data used in the authorization development and evaluation process. The PAM project consists of three systems; Personnel Authorization Module System (PAM), Mobilization Manpower Planning System (MOBMAN), and Soldier and Family Demographics System (FAMILY). Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. (95%); and Arlington, Va. (5%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2003. There were 31 bids solicited on Aug. 25, 1997, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-98-D-0007).

AIR FORCE

Boeing North American Aircraft, Inc., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded, a $7,294,115 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for the Period Four (15 Feb 97 - 17 Aug 97) Award fee for performance of the Phase IIB Engineering and Manufacturing Development for the Conventional Mission Upgrade program in support of the B-1B aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed October 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94/C-0001, P00071).

NAVY

Westinghouse Electric Corp., Plant Apparatus Div., Pittsburgh, Penn., is being awarded a $37,468,551 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4051 for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Penn. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Westinghouse Electric Corp., Machine Apparatus Operation, Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $33,220,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4053 for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N.Y. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

This effort shall provide for the alterations to ship systems, and inspection, test, and repair of systems and components to ensure continued safe operation of the ship. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed in July 1998. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
