DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig Medical Corporation, Lake Zurich, Ill., is being awarded a $9,073,000 firm-fixed-price modified-requirements contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Lake Zurich, Ill., and Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 28, 1998. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-96-D-7111).

IBM Global Government Industry, Houston, Texas, is being awarded an estimated $250,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for digital imaging network picture archiving and communications systems. Work is expected to be completed by November 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-98-D-8702).

AGFA Division, Bayer Corporation, Ridgefield Park, N.J., is being awarded an estimated $250,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for digital imaging network picture archiving and communications systems. Work will be performed in Teterboro, N.J., and is expected to be completed by November 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-98-D-8701).

ARMY

Hercules Aerospace Co., Radford, Va., is being awarded a $19,273,589 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture of 85,855 MK 90 propellant grains. Work will be performed at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Radford, Va., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 25, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-94-G-0012).

NAVY

Raytheon Electronic Systems, Marlborough, Mass., is being awarded a $15,023,822 fixed-priced option against contract N00039-82-C-0142 for 11 Navy Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Program (NESP) terminals. The NESP AN/USC-38(V) is a general purpose communications terminal designed to accommodate a wide variety of applications (i.e., secure voice, teletype, data and fleet broadcast) on surface ships, submarines and fixed shore sites. The work will be performed in Marlborough, Mass., and is expected to be completed by February 2000. The contract was originally competitively selected in 1982 and downselected (solesourced) to Raytheon in 1986. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.
