NAVY

Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation, Lyndhurst, N.J., is being awarded a $9,602,127 cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded delivery order N62472-94-D-0398, for materials, labor and equipment to dredge the channel of Allen Landfill; to create a constructed wetland along the eastern side of the landfill, including a retention structure, stabilize the slope and cap the landfill with a combination permeable/impermeable cover. Work will be performed in Davisville, R.I., and is expected to be completed by

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Findlay, Ohio, is being awarded a $2,964,776 delivery order under an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded contract N68711-93-D-1459, for environmental remedial action. Work will be performed in Yuma, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by June 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.

OHM Remediation Services Corp., Findlay, Ohio, is being awarded a $2,497,195 delivery order under an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded contract N68711-93-D-1459, for environmental remedial action. Work will be performed in El Centro, California, and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.

CORRECTION: On December 18, 1997, the Department of Defense announced its decision to award a $177,112,046 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option to McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo. This contract was to procure twelve AV-8B aircraft for the FY 98 production year; integrated logistics support; sustaining engineering; contractor engineering and technical services; publications management contractor support; modification kits; spare and repair parts; program sustaining support; and associated technical, administrative, and financial data

(N00019-97-C-0046). Subsequently, a decision was reached to extend the period for option exercise through January 23, 1998, in lieu of exercising the aforementioned option. This extension will allow time for resolution of the acquisition strategy regarding the FY 98 multiyear procurement prior to option exercise. The modification extending the time frame for option exercise was signed by Boeing Company on December 19, 1997. AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $492,000,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for ten C-130J aircraft (6 for the Air National Guard, 2 for the Air Force Reserve, 2 for the Marine Corps). Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F33657-95/C-2055, P00010).

Lockheed Martin Aerospace Corp., Santa Maria, Calif., was awarded on December 22, a $14,047,084 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for design of upgrades for the Network Core, Network Manager, and Timing functions of the communication networks of the Eastern and Western Ranges. This effort supports the Range Standardization and Automation Phase IIA program. Contract is expected to be completed October 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95/C-0029, P00030).

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kan., was awarded on December 22, a $15,494,938 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for Multipoint Refueling System kits applicable to the KC-135R aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-95/C-0046, P00042).

Universe Technologies, Inc., Frederick, Md. AND J. M. Waller & Associates, Burke, Va., were awarded on December 22, a $46,100,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide support from Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance for the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence, Brooks AFB, Texas. Services will include Installation Restoration Plans, Base Realignment and Closure, Environmental Planning, and Environmental Quality Planning. The contractors will share the program maximum indicated above. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. There were six proposals received. Solicitation began July 1997; negotiations were completed October 1997. The work will be performed at Brooks AFB, Texas, and various other locations. Contract is expected to be completed December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Human Systems Center, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41624-98/D-8501 & F41624-98/D8502).

BDM Corporation, Fairfax, Va., was awarded on December 22, a $65,672,823 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for CY 1998 Direct Manning Personnel in support of maintenance of the F-15 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-97/C-0070, P00008).
