DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

UNISYS Corp., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $258,434,951 firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract for the renewal and maintenance of current UNISYS proprietary software, lease and maintenance of current leased UNISYS equipment. The contract will be for five years (one base period of 9 months, four 12-month option periods, and one 3-month option period). The work will be performed at DISA Defense Megacenters and other DoD/non-DoD agencies. Initial delivery orders to be obligated at the time of award is estimated at approximately $30,000,000. This is a sole-source acquisition. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (DCA200-98-D-0019).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for various items not to exceed $86,000,000. Work will be performed at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., and is expected to be completed Dec. 30, 1998. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO410-98-D-0002).

NAVY

Raytheon TI Systems Inc., Lewisville, Texas, is being awarded an $85,723,190 firm-fixed-price, incentive-firm-target contract for the Low Rate Initial Production - Lot II of the Joint Standoff Weapon, including the procurement of 180 AGM-154A JSOW Missile Systems for the U.S. Navy (145) and the U.S. Air Force (35); Jettison Vehicles; Dummy Air Training Missiles; containers; practical explosive system trainers; single hoist ordnance loading system adapters; transport adapters; performance and characterization testing; special tooling and special test equipment; associated integrated logistics support; and technical, administrative, and financial data. Work will be performed in Lewisville, Texas, and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. General Dynamics Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Mass., is being awarded a $10,908,716 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to provide Fire Control subsystem assemblies including Missile Interface Boxes, Spare Guidance Interface Boxes, Power Supply Assemblies and associated spares. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be completed by June 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-98-C-0008).

Essex Electro Engineers Inc., Schaumburg, Ill., is being awarded a $7,646,400 firm-fixed-price contract to procure 100 Mobile Electric Power Plant units for the U.S. Navy (95%), and four units for the Government of Malaysia (4%), and one unit for the Government of Greece (1%), under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Schaumburg, Ill., and is expected to be completed by March 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 30 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-98-C-0050).

International Technology Corp., Martinez, Calif., is being awarded a $6,948,000 modification for previously awarded contract N62474-93-D-2151 for environmental remediation action to provide for soil excavation, disposal, and backfill, removal of steam and fuel pipelines, storm drain system rehabilitation, and post construction groundwater monitoring at the Hunters Point Shipyard, San Francisco, Calif. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $200,000,000. Work will be performed in San Francisco, Calif., and is expected to be completed in March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Engineering Field Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, Calif., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $8,852,033 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for engineering services and the Component Improvement Program for the T-33 engine, applicable to the E-3A (Airborne Warning and Control System, AWACS), B-52 and KC-135 (tanker/transport) aircraft. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-98-C-0037).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Pico Rivera, Calif., is being awarded a $33,836,259 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, Time-and-Material, and Cost Reimbursable with no-fee contract to provide Interim Contractor Support for Operational B-2 aircraft. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-94-C-0070-P00100).

Systems & Electronics Incorporated (SEI), St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $16,698,561 Time and Material, Fixed-Price, and Cost Reimbursable No Fee contract for Interim Contractor Support at four bases (two Continental U.S. and two Outside Continental U.S.) as well as at the contractor's facility in St. Louis for the APQ-170 radar. This acquisition, exclusively for the United States Air Force, also covers repair of the radar and an upgrade modification to an APQ-425 configuration. The radar is used aboard the MC-130H Combat Tallon II aircraft, used by Special Operations Forces. Special Operations Forces (SOF), Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-0004).

ARMY

M. A. Mortenson Co., Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $15,115,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of B-2 support facility package 84, maintenance docks. Work will be performed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 23 bids solicited on Oct. 8, 1997, and eight bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb. (DACA45-98-C-0006).

Atherton Construction Inc.*, Las Vegas, Nev., is being awarded an $11,446,375 firm-fixed-price contract for Item #1, Options 1-7 and 9 to improve family housing, Phases 4 and 5. Work will be performed at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., and is expected to be completed by June 23, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 88 bids solicited on Aug. 26, 1997, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb. (DACA45-98-C-0007).
