ARMY
Primex Technologies Inc., St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $69,446,111 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 21,348 armor-piercing, fin stabilized, discarding sabot-tracer (APFSDS-T) 120 mm, M829A2 cartridges.
Work will be performed in Red Lion, Pa. (63.44%), and St. Petersburg, Fla. (36.56%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source contract initiated on May 26, 1994.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, Ala. (DAAE30-95-C-0086).
AIR FORCE
BDM International, Inc., McLean VA; Georgia Tech Research Corporation, Atlanta GA; and Tybrin Corporation, Shalimar FL are being awarded a $150,000,000 Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Award Fee, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
These three contractors will participate in the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) and Munitions Test Improvement Contract (CIMTIC).
This program will acquire specialized hardware, software, and/or prototype systems to develop and/or modify the facilities and infrastructure for test, training, and evaluation of C4I and munitions systems.
The three contractors will share the program maximum indicated above.
Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued.
Delivery order requirements will be competed between the three contractors.
