DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Coastal Institutional Distributors, Walterboro, S.C., is being awarded a $32,867,880 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Three hundred thirty-four proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by Jan. 22, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems Inc., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $48,780,410 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-93-C-0004 for the procurement of 54 Close Combat Tactical Trainer modules (CCTT) for the U.S. Army. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed in August 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Electronic Systems, Marlborough, Mass., is being awarding a $10,150,000 fixed-price contract for medium data rate upgrades to currently fielded Navy Extremely High Frequency Satellite Communication Program terminals. The NESP AN/USC-38(V) is a general purpose communications terminal designed to accommodate a wide variety of applications such as secure voice, teletype, data and fleet broadcast on surface ships, submarines and fixed shore sites. Work will be performed in Marlborough, Mass. (50%), Waltham, Mass. (25%), and Andover, Mass. (25%), and is expected to be completed in October 1999. This contract contains options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $79,970,000.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego is the contracting activity (N00039-98-C-0033).
