AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $6,445,590 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for Orbital Operations Support from February 1998 through January 1999 for the Defense Satellite Communication System. Contract is expected to be completed January 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95/C-0037, P00008).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $39,400,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to adjust the Space Based Infrared System High Program to match the funding profile. This modification extends delivery dates for the Highly Elliptical Orbit Payload by three months, and the Geosynchronous Space Vehicles 1, 2, and 3 and Ground Increment 2 by four months. Contract is expected to be completed November 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95/C-0017, P00027).

Boeing North American, Inc., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $11,735,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for post delivery practical test support for two Boeing 767 airframe Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Japan. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-94/C-0004, P00055).

NAVY

Engineering Technology Center, an operating segment of Analysis & Technology Inc., North Stonington, Conn., is being awarded a $22,667,110 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract to cover a variety of tasking areas which include engineering and technical services in the fields of Active Noise and Vibration Control, Finite Element Techniques for Acoustic Modeling, Advanced Structual Concepts, Hydroacoustics,

Advanced Computer Software, and Survivability. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md. (50%), Arlington, Va. (25%), Bethesda, Md. (15%), and at various subcontractor sites (10%), and is expected to be completed by February 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 72 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-98-D-0003).

General Dynamics Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Mass., is being awarded a $10,455,868 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to provide for development and production of TRIDENT II backfit trainer hardware. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $43,767,311. Work will be performed Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-98-C-0015).
