DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Gentex Corporation, Carbondale, Pa., is being awarded a $5,474,549 firm-fixed-price contract for various equipment items. Work will is expected to be completed by February 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-96-G-001PTWO1).

ARMY

ICF Kaiser Engineers Inc., Fairfax, Va., was awarded on Feb. 13, 1998, a $12,000,000 increment of a cost-plus-incentive-fee task order awarded against an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for environmental remediation of contamination in soil and groundwater at Southern Maryland Wood Treatment Site using a thermal treatment process "Low Temperature Thermal Description." Work will be performed in Hollywood, St. Mary's County, Md., and is expected to be completed by July 20, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 17, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md. (DACA31-95-D-0083).

R E T R A C T I O N

Contract DAAB07-97-C-J738, announced for Northrup Grumman on Feb. 13, 1998, is hereby retracted.

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $147,700,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for five F-15E aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/C-0028, PZ0002).

NAVY

Standard Missile Company, McLean, Va., is being awarded a $50,950,888 cost plus-award-fee contract to provide research and development engineering services on a level of effort basis to support the Standard Missile Program as the Missile Round Design Agent. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $99,996,864. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (42.1%), McLean, Va. (32.1%), and Tewksbury, Mass. (25.8%), and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., Research, is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-5364).
