DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Wolverine World Wide Inc., Rockford, Mich., is being awarded a maximum $7,975,935 indefinite-quantity contract for intermediate cold/wet boots. Forty-four proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico; Big Rapids, Mich.; and Rockford, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 22, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO100-97-D-1005).

Provisiones Legrand*, San Juan, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $5,678,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred forty proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by April 26, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-98-D-2953).

AIR FORCE

Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $9,741,256 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for extension of the design and development of upgrades to the Red Flag Measurement and Debriefing System in support of the Nellis Air Combat Training System effort at Nellis AFB, Nev. This modification provides for schedule slip from April to October 1998, cost growth, and extended development of required encryption devices. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-94/C-0010, P00019).

Thiokol Corp., Brigham City, Utah, is being awarded a $7,395,617 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for exploratory development of service life prediction technology in support of the Integrated High Payoff Rocket Propulsion Technology program. Contract is expected to be completed February 2003. There were 4 proposals received. Solicitation began July 1997;

negotiations were completed February 1998. At this time, $900,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, Calif. is the contracting activity (F04611-98/C-0005).

Raytheon Aircraft Co., Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $60,015,750 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive contract to provide for 22 Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) aircraft, and components for the Parachute Procedures Trainer. Contract is expected to be completed January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is the contracting activity (F336547-94/C-0006, P00043).

NAVY

Raytheon E-Systems, Inc., Greenville, Texas, is being awarded a $32,636,487 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0213 to exercise an option for 12 sustained readiness program (SRP) core kits, and the installation of 14 SRP core kits for the P-3C Sustained Readiness Program. Work will be performed in Greenville, Texas, and is expected to be completed in September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Avondale Industries, Inc., Shipyard Div., New Orleans, La., is being awarded a $24,200,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-93-C-2205 to exercise an option to provide long lead time material for the construction of one Strategic Sealift Ship. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed in September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

C. E. Wylie Construction Co., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $17,402,700 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of four storage air/ground organic units; hazardous materials storage buildings; and three pre-fabricated hazardous materials storage lockers at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

This contract was competitively procured with 200 proposals solicited and 14 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Div., San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-94-C-1590).

ARMY

Raytheon TI Systems Inc., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded a time and materials contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), with an estimated cumulative total of $20,825,000, for engineering and technical services to support the Second Generation Horizontal Technology Integration (HTI) Forward Looking Infrared (FLRI) Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Program. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2003. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 20, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Chemical Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-98-D-J601).

The Law Co. Inc.*, Wichita, Kan., is being awarded $5,250,000 of a not-to-exceed $5,465,000 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price multi-year contract for construction of an approximately 42,000 sq. foot, two-story facility with concrete foundation, masonry walls, structural steel frame, standing seam metal roof, fire protection system, utilities, an elevator, and associated pavement and site work. Work will be performed at McConnell Air Force Base, Ft. Riley, Kan., and is expected to be completed by May 16, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 443 bids solicited on Dec. 19, 1997, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo. (DACA41-98-C-0010).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

ITT A-C Pump, Pewaukee, Wis., is being awarded a $14,217,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture of seven horizontal pumps for the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Project. Work will be performed in Pewaukee**, Wis., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were eight bids solicited on Sept. 2, 1997, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, La. (DACW29-98-D-0007).
