AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Inc., Owego, N.Y., was awarded on February 27, a $5,396,764 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for design, development, production, and installation of an upgrade to the power distribution system on twelve MC-130H aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed May 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-83/C-0264, P00319).

DME Corp., Orlando, Fla., was awarded on February 27, a $5,804,711 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for redevelopment of twelve Intermediate Level Test Program Sets applicable to the Radio frequency and Analog Digital Automated Test Station in support of the B-2 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 2001. There were six firms solicited and five proposals received. Solicitation began January 1998; negotiations were completed February 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-98/F-0008)

Piquniq Management Corp., Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on February 27, a $7,422,789 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for base operation, maintenance and support services for Eareckson Air Station, Alaska, from March 1998 through February 1999. Contract is expected to be completed February 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, is the contracting activity (F65501-95/C-0015, P00088).

ABA Industries, Inc., Pinellas Park, Fla., was awarded on February 27, a $20,666,119 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for a maximum of 14,894 Divergent Flaps applicable to the F110 engine on the F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed February 2001. There were four firms solicited and two proposals received. Solicitation began June 1997; negotiations were completed December 1997. General Electric Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, was awarded on February 27, a $14,795,138 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 82 Digital Engine Control kits and 125 Main Engine Control kits applicable to the F110-GE-100 engine on the F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Litton Systems, Inc., Woodland Hills, Calif., was awarded on February 27, a $5,814,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 76 Embedded Global Positioning System (GPS)/Inertial Navigation System (INS) units, associated chassis modifications, and mounts applicable to the F/A-18 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. ARMY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded on Feb. 26, 1998, a $9,223,662 modification to a firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract to exercise options for 108 Black-out, 36 Rescue Hoist Adapter, 13 Air Transportability, and 35 6-Man Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) Kits in support of the UH-60L Helicopter, in accordance with Mission Flexibility Kit Option Clause H-30 of the subject contract. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $4,529,839 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 17, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAJ09-97-C-0005).

Ascend/D&K Construction Co. Inc.* (a joint venture), Springfield, N.J., is being awarded a $9,915,000 firm-fixed-price contract for whole-house renovations of 141 units in 42 buildings. Work will be performed in New Cumberland, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 36 bids solicited on July 11, 1997, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md. (DACA31-98-C-0020).

Einhorn Yaffee Prescott, The Flour Mill, Washington, D.C., is being awarded $500,000 as part of a $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price, architect-engineering, indefinite delivery type contract for design and management support services for the A-E Pentagon Renovation. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by April 2, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on Oct. 14, 1997, and 19 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md. (DACA31-98-D-0013).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $24,565,369 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-6535 to incorporate Common Specification for Sonar, Combat Control, and Architecture Subsystems, Common-SPEC-01, Rev. A, dated 20 January 1998 and Advanced Processing Build (APB)-1 requirements, the Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) program functional baseline. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed in November 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
