DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Interstate Steel Supply Co.**, Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded an estimated maximum $6,195,387 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for metals and metal products. Six hundred thirteen proposals were solicited and eight were received. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa.; Canton, Mass.; Warminster, Pa.; Kent, Wash.; Kennesaw, Ga.; York, Pa.; Manchester, Conn.; Sante Fe Springs, Calif.; and Plantation, Fla., and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO500-98-D-0016).

ARMY

Oceania, Palto Alto, Calif., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a estimated cumulative total of $54,000,000 (if all options and optional services are exercised, base plus four years) to provide commercial-off-the shelf software (COTS) product (Note writer) structured documentation tool component in support of the operational Military Health Service system. Work will be performed at various continental United States locations, and is expected to be completed by March 4, 2003. There were 18 bids solicited on Dec. 15, 1997, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-98-0020).

AIR FORCE

Advanced Testing Technologies, Inc., is being awarded an $18,860,171 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for Benchtop Reconfigurable Automatic Testers (BRAT) in the following amounts, as Depot/Intermediate and Organizational test systems for the C-5 Galaxy and the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-98/F-0039).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $38,977,876 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to increase the FY 98 through FY 03 swing clause thresholds for future aircraft changes and aircraft software block upgrades on the multiyear contract. Additionally, this action includes prices for 16 future aircraft changes and six aircraft software block upgrades under this expanded clause. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96/C-2059, P00038).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $10,932,927 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide FY 98 Contractor Logistics Support to maintain, repair, and overhaul propulsion systems on fielded C-17 aircraft deployed at Altus Air Force Base, Okla. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/C-0008, P00007).

NAVY

Ingalls Shipbuilding, Inc., Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a $2,523,608,847 fixed-price-incentive FY98-FY01 multiyear contract for construction of six DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyers with one option for a DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyer. This contract includes a second option for one DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyer, which if exercised, will be constructed in FY01. Ingalls' six multiyear ships are distributed as follows: one in FY98; two in FY99; two in FY00; and one in FY01. Funding to be provided at contract award is $856,994,027 including $701,225,361 for the two FY98 ships (including the option ship) and $155,768,666 in advance procurement funding for the FY99 through FY01 ships. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by August 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-2307).

Bath Iron Works Corp., Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $2,176,941,965 fixed-price-incentive FY98-FY01 multiyear contract for construction of six DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyers. Bath's six multiyear ships are distributed as follows: two in FY98; one in FY99; one in FY00; and two in FY01. Funding to be provided at contract award is $830,083,554 including $711,024,220 for the two FY98 ships and $119,059,334 in advance procurement funding for the FY99 through FY01 ships. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by August 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-2306).
