ARMY

Nova Group, Inc., Napa, Calif., is being awarded a $9,922,000 firm-fixed-price contract to construct three new 13,250, three cubic meter aboveground welded steel jet fuel tanks, a petroleum oil lubricants pump houses/operations building, DN 200, 190m issue fuel line, truck fill stand, site improvements, utilities, security fencing and lights. Demolish four aboveground Northjet tanks and two aboveground Southjet fuel tanks. Work will be performed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 78 bids solicited on Feb. 6, 1998, and seven bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Corps of Engineers, Anchorage, Alaska (DACA85-98-C-0004).

COLSA Corporation,* Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $4,800,000 increment as part of a $89,313,628 cumulative total (if all options are exercised base year and four option years) cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide scientific, engineering, analysis and technical efforts to support verification and validation of systems and computer software for the theater high altitude area defense project office. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 19, 2005. Contracts funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 49 bids solicited on Nov. 5, 1997, and five bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Space & Strategic Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala (DASG60-98-C-0010).

NAVY

Analysis & Technology, Inc., of North Stonington, Conn., is being awarded a $11,450,058 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract under solicitation N66604-97-R-4487. This contract will provide software systems engineering services in undersea warfare for the engineering development phases of sonar systems, ASW combat systems and 21st century programs. Work will be performed in Middletown, R.I. (60%), North Stonington, Conn. (24%), and Newport, R.I. (16%), and is expected to be completed by March 2003. Funding of $15,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract

was procured under full and open competition with sixty-six sources solicited and two proposals received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-98-D-2864).

Mid Eastern Builders, Inc., Chesapeake, Va., is being awarded a $10,969,342 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a general purpose warehouse. The contract contains a pre-priced option in the amount of $269,720 which will be awarded within 270 calendar days bringing the cumulative value of this contract to $11,239,062. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with one hundred five offers solicited and seven bids received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-96-C-6074).

Sonalysts, Inc., of Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $9,916,632 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract under solicitation N66604-97-R-4487. This contract will provide software systems engineering services in undersea warfare for the engineering development phases of sonar systems, ASW combat systems and 21st century programs. Work will be performed in Waterford, Conn. (30%), Groton, Conn. (30%), Newport, R.I. (30%), and Ronkonkoma, N.Y. (10%), and is expected to be completed by March 2003. Funding of $15,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was procured under full and open competition with sixty-six sources solicited and two proposals received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newpost, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-98-D-1114).
