Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $5,315,332 modification to a firm-fixed-price multi-year contract, to exercise the option for 22 6-Man Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) Kits in support of the UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter, in accordance with Mission Flexibility Kit Option Clause H-30 of subject contract. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Parker Building Company Inc., Auburn, Ala., is being awarded a $6,740,000 firm-fixed-price contract to construct a Battalion Headquarters Command and Control facility with classrooms, and Company Administration and Operational Facilities (COF). The Company Operational Facilities include a headquarters and headquarters company, and three line company facilities. Supporting facilities include all utilities; communications and information systems; fire detection alarm systems, intrusion detection system, POV parking, access roads, storm drainage and landscaping. Work will be performed in Muscogee County, Ga., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 12, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. R.Q. Construction Inc.*, Bonsall, Calif., is being awarded $10,421,521 (basic amount) as part of an $11,771,851 (total if options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for renovation of three buildings, utilities and ground work to support facility function as a Regional Finance Center. The project consists of demolition and replacement of existing interior partitions, replace perimeter spandrel walls with new curtain wall system, remove and replace roof, asbestos abatement, seismic upgrading, heating-ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, communications, site work, security system, and site paving. Work will be performed in San Bernardino**, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 29, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
