AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $15,365,450 firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for 44,350 (best estimated quantity) First Stage Blade Sets applicable to the TF-33 engine on the KC-135, C-141, B-52 and E-3 aircraft. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is calendar year 2002. Lear Astronics, Santa Monica, Calif., is being awarded an $8,952,393 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for 115 Fuel Management Advisory Computers, 114 Integrated Fuel Management Panels, and 109 Adapter Cable Assemblies applicable to the Fuel Savings Management System on the KC-135 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is November 1999. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-92-C-0918-P00028)

International Enterprises, Inc., Talladega, Ala., is being awarded a $6,037,390 firm-fixed-price-requirements-type-contract to provide for repair of 32 line items of shop replaceable units applicable to the AN/APG-68 radar in support of the F-16 aircraft. There were four firms solicited and two proposals received. Solicitation issue date was March 27, 1998. Negotiation completion date was April 28, 1998. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (No contract number available)

NAVY

  • TSM Corp.,* Bartlett, Tenn., is being awarded an $8,135,527 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide services in support of TRIDENT combat systems at Kings Bay, Ga. and Bangor, Wash. naval bases. Services will include maintenance, problem analysis and correction, and logistics support. Work will be performed in

Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured as a small business set-aside over the Internet and two offers were received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, R.I., is the contracting activity (N66604-98-D-0085).

Pro Construction, Inc.,* Jacksonville, N.C., is being awarded a $7,802,807 firm-fixed-priced contract for construction and incidental related work for an operations/maintenance facility at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N.C. Work will be performed in Cherry Point, N.C., and is expected to be completed in September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 68 proposals solicited and seven offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-97-C-7011).

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $7,156,289 ceiling-price, basic ordering agreement order for 74 combustion liners used on the TF-34 engine of the S-3 aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed in December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (F34601-97-G-0002) (Order GEP6).
