ARMY

Stewart & Stevenson Services Inc., Sealy, Texas, is being awarded a $6,843,616 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee, level-of-effort contract for 105,000 manhours of engineering support in production, for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 30, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-92-C-R001).

Bechtel National Inc., San Francisco, Calif., is being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $27,351,765 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for dismantling of the SS-24 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) silo in the Ukraine. Work will be performed in the Ukraine, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 12, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 35 bids solicited on Nov. 10, 1997, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the Defense Special Weapons Agency, Alexandria, Va. (DSWA01-98-C-0112).

PRIMEX Technologies, Marion, Ill., is being awarded a $6,736,094 firm-fixed-price contract for demilitarization of 110,229 rounds of 152 mm cartridges. Work will be performed in Marion, Ill., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 20 bids solicited on Jan. 28, 1998, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-C-0027).

NAVY

T. B. Penick and Sons, Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $7,457,881 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction, addition/alteration and all incidental related work for a medical/dental clinic at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in October 2000. Contract funds will not expire at

the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 60 proposals solicited and 13 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-94-C-1604).

Raytheon Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,345,575 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-5435 for the upgrade of the rolling airframe guided missile weapon system, Block I variant, with an engineering change to provide targeting of helicopters and other surface aircraft. The rolling airframe missile MK-31 guided missile weapon system is a NATO cooperative development and production program between the United States and German Government. Work will be performed Tucson, Ariz. (50%) and Ottobrunn, Germany (50%), and is expected to be completed in January 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Pro Technical Products, Inc., Rockford, Ill., is being awarded a maximum $59,900,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for maintenance, repair and operations supplies under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred-five proposals were solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in Minneapolis, Minn., and Chicago, Ill., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 11, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO500-98-D-0054).

Strategic Procurement Services, Inc., Fairfield, N.J., is being awarded a maximum $36,100,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for maintenance, repair and operations supplies under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred-five proposals were solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and Seattle, Wash., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 11, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO500-98-D-0053).

Graybar Electric Company, Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a maximum $42,600,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment indefinite-quantity contract for maintenance, repair and operations supplies under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred-five proposals were solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 11, 1999. One hundred-five proposals were solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kan.; Houston, Texas; and Amarillo, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 11, 1999. Caribbean Needle Point, Inc.**, Penuelas, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $7,970,088 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery-type contract for woodland camouflage enhanced hot weather coats. Forty-six proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, and Ricon, Puerto Rico, and is expected to be completed by December 1999.
