Seagoing Uniforms*, Marshville, N.C., is being awarded a $8,346,165 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for men's work uniform trousers; women's work uniform slacks; men's work uniform shirts; and women's work uniform shirts. One proposals was solicited and one was received. Work will be performed in Robersonville, N.C., and Wadesboro, N.C., and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Camber Corp., Huntsville, Ala., ($99,995); INTELX Corp., Leesburg, Va., ($99,262); Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., ($99,966); McDonnell Douglas Corp.; St. Louis, Mo., ($149,276); and Raytheon Training Inc., Irving, Texas ($98,096); are being awarded a $486,000,000 (Total Program Maximum) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity-contract. Each contractor will design, develop, test, produce, modify, upgrade, deliver and sustain complex aircrew, maintenance and system specific training systems through June 2006. This effort will include training devices, courseware, student training, software, hardware, visual/sensor systems and databases, and contractor logistics support. Primex Aerospace Company, Redmond, Wash., is being awarded a $10,677,469 firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for 72 Store Management and Release Test Sets applicable to the F-16 aircraft. These sets are used to verify system voltages on the aircraft's armament systems. Approximately 16 percent of this effort supports foreign military sales to Greece, Turkey, Portugal, and Israel. There were two firms solicited and 1 proposal received. Expected contract completion date is February 2000. Solicitation issue date was February 12, 1998. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Company, King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded a $10,000,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for modification of retrofit upgrades to the Crosslink Transponder Data Unit on two Global Positioning System Block IIR spacecraft. Naval Systems Associates, LC, Fulton, Md., is being awarded a $26,130,292 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for engineering services which will include a mix of naval architecture, marine engineering, systems analysis, systems definition, acquisition and planning to support the Ship Systems Program Directorate of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Carderock, Md. Work will be performed in Fulton, Md., and is expected to be completed by July 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 72 proposals solicited and four offers received.
