DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Petro Diamond, Inc., Irvine, Calif., is being awarded a $12,693,467 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for reformulated gasoline; low sulfur diesel fuel; and red-dyed diesel fuel. Two hundred thirty-three sealed bids were solicited and forty-six were received. Work will be performed in Arizona and California, and is expected to be completed Aug. 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-98-D-4596).

Ultramar, Inc., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $10,678,792 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for reformulated gasoline; low sulfur diesel fuel; and unleaded gasoline. Two hundred thirty-three sealed bids were solicited and forty-six were received. Work will be performed in Arizona and California, and is expected to be completed Aug. 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-98-D-4572).

AIR FORCE

UES Inc., Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $5,300,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity-contract to provide for research and development in the areas of semiconductor sciences, aircraft mechanical/thermal technology, advanced power systems, and electrical technology. This was a Program Research and Development Announcement; 53 proposals were received. Expected contract completion date is July 3, 2003. Solicitation issue date was August 7, 1997. Negotiation completion date was June 18, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98-D-2867).

University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $6,800,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity-contract to provide for research and development in the areas of semiconductor sciences, aircraft mechanical/thermal technology, advanced power systems, electrical technology, and aircraft batteries. This was a Program Research and Development Announcement; 53 proposals received. Expected contract completion date is July 3, 2003. Solicitation issue date was August 7, 1997. Negotiation completion date was July 9, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98-D-2891).
