Boeing Defense and Space Group, Helicopter Division, Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded $65,655,700 as part of a not-to-exceed $92,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for 4 International Model CH-47D Helicopters. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $6,440,073 cost-sharing-contract ($3,997,656, Government portion; $2,442,417, Contractor portion) to provide for research and development to produce the next-generation security cards for programs employing Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. There were 9 firms solicited and 8 proposals received. Expected contract completion date is December 31, 1999. Solicitation issue date was April 10, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 16, 1998. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-98-C-0032).

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $21,863,436 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price-contract to provide for six F110-GE-100B engines applicable to the F-16C aircraft. This effort supports foreign military sales to Bahrain. Expected contract completion date is December 31, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-D-2000, 0077).

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $6,123,930 firm-fixed-price-contract to procure 5,179 third stage a/S ring segments applicable to the F100/PW100/200/220 engine used in the F-15 and F-16. Solicitation issue date was January 1, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 28, 1998. San Antonio Air logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F34601-98-G-0005-SA4G).
