DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Raytheon E-Systems Inc., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded an estimated $35,000,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment, indefinite-quantity contract for Supply Chain Management in support of Pre-Expended Bin Stock. Ten proposals were solicited and seven were received. Work will be performed in Earth City, Mo., and is expected to be completed by August 18, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO540-98-D-AP03).

ARMY

CAS, Incorporated *, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $150,000 increment of a $7,135,141 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with a cumulative total of $49,998,752 (base year plus five 1-year options) to provide scientific, engineering, and technical assistance and testbed support to the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS) Project Office, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. The period of performance is approximately fifty (50) months. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (79%),Columbia, Md. (5%), Fairfax, Va. (2%), and Elizabeth City, N.C., and is expected to be completed by Sept 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 26, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Space & Strategic Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala. (DASG60-98-C-0079).

GTE Government Systems Corporation, Needham Heights, Mass., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity/awarded fee/ fixed-price contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of an estimated $23,051,863 (base year) with a (estimated cumulative total) of $109,791,863 to provide the above-ground telecommunications Backbone (ATB) in support of the Pentagon renovation project. The ATB contract provide for the design, engineering, and implementation of a common information management and telecommunications infrastructure for voice, video, and data service to all residents within the renovated Pentagon over the next 10 years. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Aug 18, 2008. There were 265 bids solicited on Aug 4, 1997, and 5 bids received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-98-D-0045.

NAVY

  • Texcom, Inc., Portsmouth, Va., is being awarded a $24,672,350 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed fee contract to provide engineering services in support of Navy communications programs. Programs include shipboard switching systems, UHF/VHF/HF radio equipment support, Link 2, commercial wideband SatCom, LHD communications, microwave and integrated communications and battlegroup cellular and related systems. This contract contains three one-year options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative
  • value of the contract to $99,194,587. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., various locales in Tidewater, Va., contractor facilities and locations in the U.S. and around the world as required, and the expected completion date is August 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 100 proposals solicited and nine offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N65236-98-D-5822).
