DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig Drug Company, Orange, Calif., is being awarded a $52,215,600 firm-fixed-price-requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred five proposals were solicited and six were received. Work will be performed in South Bend, Ind.; and is expected to be completed by July 24, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-99-D-7025).

ARMY

The MITRE Corporation, McLean, VA., is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of an estimated cumulative total of $1,032,924,139 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for operation of the Department of Defense (DOD) command, control, communications, and intelligence (C31) federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) which provides integrated systems engineering and integration support for DOD, command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. Work will be performed in McLean, VA. (51%), Bedford, Mass. (11%), Eatontown, N.J. (12%) and various on site locations (26%), and is expected to be completed by Sept 30, 2003. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug 14, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-99-C-C201).

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $25,000,000 ceiling-priced, delivery order under a basic ordering agreement for the nonrecurring engineering design, ground/ flight testing and logistics support of the CH-60 vertical replenishment helicopter. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $3,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-G-0023).
