CAS, Inc.*, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $100,000 modification not-to-exceed $10,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for scientific professional and other technical services associated with rotorcraft research, development, test and evaluation program that encompass the following: (1) systems engineering, (2) rotorcraft analyses and integration, (3) software engineering, (4) test and evaluation, and (5) technical services. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a broad agency announcement on the World Wide Web (WWW) over the Aviation Applied Technology Directorate and three bids were received. Renda Marine, Inc., Dallas, Texas, was awarded on Oct. 26, 1998, a $500,000 increment as part of a $12,526,100 firm-fixed-price contract for Houston-Galveston Navigation Channels, Texas, dredging upper Bayou (45 foot project) in Harris and Galveston counties. Work will be performed in Galveston, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 1, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 bids solicited on June 16, 1998, and five bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston, Texas (DACW64-99-C-0001).
