DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

PYA/Monarch Inc., Lexington, S.C., is being awarded an estimated $27,500,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred thirty-three proposals were solicited and five were received. Work will be performed in Walterboro, S.C., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 22, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-99-D-2964).

NAVY

Raytheon Systems Company, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $16,579,296 modification to previously awarded contract N00030-98-C-0009 to exercise options to perform repair of TRIDENT II MK6 missile guidance system electronic assemblies, and to provide related hardware. This modification increases the cumulative value of this contract to $30,458,622. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed in March 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $9,131,856 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

TRW, Inc., Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $9,148,039 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for design and fabrication of the Uncooled Resonator in support of the Space Based Laser Readiness Demonstration program. Expected contract completion date is June 12, 1999. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (SDIO84-92-C-0002-P00048).

ARMY CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

McConnell Dowell (American Samoa) Ltd., Pago Pago, American Samoa, is being awarded $5,198,434 (base year total) as part of a $5,885,274 (total with line item options, if exercised) firm-fixed-price contract for construction of over four miles of concrete road. Work

will be performed on Ta'u Road, Phase III improvements, Ta'u Island, American Samoa, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 25, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 136 bids solicited on July 10, 1998, and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Shafter, Hawaii (DACW83-99-C-0001).
