DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

IBM Global Government Industry, Houston, Texas, is being awarded an estimated maximum $250,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for a digital imaging network, picture archiving and communications systems. This contract is one of two with an estimated maximum value of $250,000,000. The value of all delivery orders placed under the two contracts will not exceed the government's estimated annual maximum of $250,000,000. Sixty-five proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by November 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-98-D-8702).

Bayer Corporation, Ridgefield Park, N.J., is being awarded an estimated maximum $250,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for a digital imaging network, picture archiving and communications systems. This contract is one of two with an estimated maximum value of $250,000,000. The value of all delivery orders placed under the two contracts will not exceed the government's estimated annual maximum of $250,000,000. Sixty-five proposals were solicited and five were received. NAVY

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Inc., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $22,802,120 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-98-C-0012 to exercise an option for the installation of new simulation software into six existing SH-60B flight weapons tactics trainers. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $5,590,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-93-C-0053 for integrated logistics support and production

engineering field support for the CH-53E and MH-53E helicopters. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn. (90%), and various field locations (10%), and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

United Defense Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being awarded a $9,068,517 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, to exercise a priced option for 27 Bradley Fire Support Vehicles. Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by July 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 4, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X036).

AIR FORCE

General Atomics, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $8,216,240 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for development of an integrated manufacturing process for the fabrication of low cost, high performance low observable pigments for formulation into low observable coatings for aircraft and other Air Force assets. Expected contract completion date is Feb. 27, 2001. Solicitation issue date was May 13, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Oct. 27, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98-C-5165).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $16,063,713 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for FY 1999 operation and maintenance of the Aircrew Training System supporting the C-17 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-88-C-0029-P00116).

Lockheed Martin Electronics and Missiles, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $106,200,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the following Low Altitude Navigation Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) equipment applicable to the F-16 aircraft: 20 Sharpshooter pods, 20 Pathfinder pods, 20 Sharpshooter containers, 20 Pathfinder containers, associated support equipment, spares, and software. Expected contract completion date is October 2001. Solicitation issue date was Nov. 30, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 13, 1998.
