DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Chevron Products Company, Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $5,627,598 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for regular unleaded gas; high and low sulfur diesel fuel #2; commercial jet A fuel; and burner oil #5. Forty-one proposals were solicited and seven were received. Work will be performed on the Hawaiian Islands of Oahu and Hawaii and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-1251).

GATX Terminals Corporation, Chicago, Ill., is being awarded an $11,449,188 firm-fixed-price contract for services and facilities to receive, store and ship three grades of government-owned fuel. Sixty proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Carteret, N.J., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2005. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-C-5923).

AIR FORCE

EMCORE Corporation, Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., was awarded on Nov. 20, 1998, a $5,909,469 Technology Investment Agreement contract ($1,565,215 Government Portion; $4,344,254 Contractor Portion) to provide for development of advanced multijunction solar cells that will reduce satellite weight. This was a Broad Agency Announcement; there were five proposals received. Expected contract completion date is November 2001. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 17, 1997. Negotiation completion date was Oct. 30, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland AFB, N.M., is the contracting activity (F29601-98-2-0194).

Andersen Consulting, Chicago, Ill., was awarded on Nov. 20, 1998, a $22,615,550 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for Increment Three software of the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). This effort will on Operational Test and Evaluation of the IMDS. Expected contract completion date is July 31, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 24, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 20, 1998. Standard Systems Group, Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Ala., is the contracting activity (F19628-96-C-0127).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Ocean Radar & Sensor Systems, Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded an $8,612,115 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-6216 to exercise an option for program operation and systems support for the AN/BSY-2(V) submarine combat systems and its attendant subsystems. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds in the amount of $172,242 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
