NAVY

Electric Boat Corp., a General Dynamics Co., Groton, Conn., is receiving $9,353,578 to exercise an option under previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-2107 for design and development studies and engineering, technical and logistics services to assist in characterizing and assessing development technologies. These services include testing, integration, installation and removal services. The studies and services are for the Advanced Submarine Research and Development Program Office, PMS 92R. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed in December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Pacific Criticare, Inc., Walpahu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $6,424,660 requirements-type contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 26, 1999. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7116).

ARMY

SEI Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $30,889,279 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise the option for 175 M1000 Heavy Equipment Transport System Semi-trailers. Work will be performed in West Plains**, Mo., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 7, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X100).

AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., was awarded on Dec. 9, 1998, a $10,541,538 fixed-price-requirements contract to provide for 42 kits to upgrade the TF-33-P102B engine to the TF-22-P102C configuration in support of the E-8C Joint Surveillance

Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft. There were 13 firms solicited and two proposals received. Expected contract completion date is December 1999. Solicitation issue date was Sept. 3, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 25, 1998. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-98-D-0043).

The Boeing Company, Seattle, Wash., was awarded on Dec. 9, 1998, a $15,903,419 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for contractor logistic support through September 1999 for the C-32A aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2005. Solicitation issue date was May 3, 1996. Negotiation completion date was May 3, 1996. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-96-C-0605-P00015).

TRW Inc., San Bernardino, Calif., was awarded on Dec. 9, 1998, a $7,651,978 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for sustaining engineering services through October 1999 to maintain the reentry system and vehicle of the Minuteman and Peacekeeper intercontinental ballistic missile systems. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 31, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 19, 1998. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001-P00112).
