ARMY

Utility Tool & Body Co. Inc.*, Clintonville, Wis., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $4,643,944 as part of a $13,942,500 firm-fixed-price multi-year contract for M200A1 21/2 ton trailers with interface kit and basic issue items. Work will be performed in Clintonville, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 9, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 36 bids solicited on Aug. 12, 1998, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-99-D-S002).

United Defense Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being awarded a $114,592,510 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for the remanufacture of 27 M2A2 vehicles to the upgraded M2A3 configuration, remanufacture of 43 M3A2 vehicles to the upgraded M3A3 configuration, and the purchase of material/support for three M2A3 vehicles (the price for an option to build these three vehicles is not included in this contract action). These vehicles are part of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System. Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 30, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X036).

AIR FORCE

Holmes and Narver, Inc., Orange, Calif., is being awarded a $6,304,535 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for construction of 52 units and demolition of 60 units of military family housing at Columbus AFB, Miss. The work is expected to be completed February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41622-98/C-0034, P00001).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $10,736,976 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide funding for FY 99 strategic capability preservation of the TRIDENT II (D5) missile system. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $2,735,609 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0032).
