ARMY

DynCorp (EENSP) Inc., d/b/a DynMeridian, Alexandria, Va., was awarded on Jan. 4, 1999, an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity fixed-price-labor contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) with a cumulative total of $78,591,319 for long range strategic planning and support for the Directorate of Strategic Planning, U.S. Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs, to include but not limited to (a) strategic planning and analysis, (b) modernization planning, (c) future context development, (d) major systems capability and cost performance analysis, and (e) annual planning programming. Work will be performed at Alexandria, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. There were three bids solicited on Dec. 7, 1997, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C. (DASW01-98-D-0041).

NAVY

Techmatics, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $62,950,000 minimum order requirement, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide professional, technical and management services to support the Navy Theater Ballistic Missile Defense program offices. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet and one offer was received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-99-D-5372).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Tactical Aircraft Systems, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $7,597,327 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0038 for the Training System Technology Maturation effort for the Joint Strike Fighter program. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (42%); Akron, Ohio (26%); Orlando, Fla. (17%); and El Segundo, Calif. (15%), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Corp., Field Support Services, Inc., Pt. Mugu, Calif., is being awarded a $7,580,350 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-G-0133 to provide for the fabrication of 16 Low Altitude Navigational Targeting Infrared Night (LANTIRN) Targeting System Integration modification kits; 20 Embedded Global Positioning Systems (GPS) Internal Navigational System kits; 15 Miniaturized Airborne GPS Receiver kits; 23 LANTIRN Pylon Adapters; 89 Digital Flight Control System modification kits, and 20 band suppression filters for the F-14 aircraft. Work will be performed in Pt. Mugu, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
