AIR FORCE

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Ga., is being awarded a $38,530,875 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for one C-37A aircraft and associated training and data. Expected contract completion date is June 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Nov. 18, 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96-C-0037-P00014).

NAVY

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $22,059,230 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-2103 for advanced planning and material procurement for the extended selected restrictive availability of USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65). Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 1999. Contract funds in the amount of $21,900,982 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Corp., Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems, St. Paul, Minn., is being awarded a $14,847,639 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-98-C-0013 to exercise an option to procure the remainder of the non-recurring engineering of three pre-production P-3C block modification update kits for use in modernizing P-3C update I, II, and II.5 aircraft to the P-3C update III common configuration. Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn. (50%); Manassas, Va. (23%); Greenville, S.C. (9%); Anaheim, Calif. (7%); and at other miscellaneous locations across the U.S. (11%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being awarded an $8,836,374 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for aircraft carrier engineering support services. This contract contains options which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to $45,471,044. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 2003.

Contract funds in the amount of $4,551,134 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-99-C-2100).

KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, Washington, D.C., is receiving a $5,925,765 time and materials task order for management and organizational business improvement services in support of the Undersea Weapons Program Office. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1999. Contract funds in the amount of $707,752 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-A-6113).

Kaiser Electronics, Inc., San Jose, Calif., is being awarded a $5,044,314 firm-fixed-price contract for 33 head-up display (HUD) systems for the F/A-18C/D aircraft. The HUD is an optical and electronic device which projects flight information in symbolic form into the pilots forward field of view. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (90%) and the government of Finland (10%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in San Jose, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-97-G-002D).
