DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Joseph Webb Foods*, Vista, Calif., is being awarded a $26,500,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Seventy-five proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by Jan. 12, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-2912).

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $11,919,520 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for development of combat identification software for the Operational Flight Program on the F-15 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is June 15, 2001. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 25, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98-C-0003-P00002).

NAVY

Bell Constructors, Inc., Rochester, N.Y., is being awarded a $9,807,885 firm-fixed-price contract for the demolition and construction of a fuel storage facility and related work at the Fuel Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Fla. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 65 offers solicited and nine proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-97-C-0835).

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News. Va., is being awarded a $6,449,803 fixed-price contract for the extended drydocking restricted availability of USS Caron (DD 970). Work would include miscellaneous structural, electrical and mechanical repairs, and ship alterations to include drydocking the vessel. This contract contains options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to $8,908,787. Work will be performed in Newport News,

Va., and is expected to be completed by May 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Portsmouth, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-92-H-8019).
