ARMY

Intercontinental Manufacturing Co., Garland, Texas, is being awarded a $6,581,967 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 23,299 BDU-50 500-pound bomb bodies. Work will be performed in Garland, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 13, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-C-0074).

AIR FORCE

Actus Corp., Napa, Calif., is being awarded a $14,957,869 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for demolition of 95 units of military family housing and construction of 95 units of military family housing at Vandenberg AFB, Calif. There were 20 firms solicited and six proposals received. Expected contract completion date is April 14, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Oct. 13, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Dec. 1, 1998. Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41622-99-C-0006).

NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $10,336,000 modification to previously awarded contract (N00019-93-C-0051)to upgrade the government of Finland's F/A-18 C/D weapons tactics trainer under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Work will be performed in Arlington, Texas (80%), and St. Louis, Mo., (20%), and is expected to be completed by Nov. 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
