Northrop Grumman Marine Systems, Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $9,377,712 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide funding for TRIDENT II Bangor Launcher Trainer Backfit and U.S./U.K. special alteration effort required for launch system fault panel/training stimulation system integration. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0007).
C.E.R. Inc.*, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded an $8,298,525 firm-fixed-price contract to construct a 70,000 sq. foot general purpose administration building to support the Defense Supply Service. The building will include office space, administrative support space, and an automated data processing area, as well as an intrusion detection system and energy monitoring and control systems. Work will be performed at Fort George G. Meade, Md., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 10, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 115 bids solicited on Dec. 10, 1998, and 20 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md. (DACA31-99-C-0008).
