NAVY

Advanced Technology and Research, Corp.*, Burtonsville, Md., is being awarded a $26,582,915 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a time and materials pricing arrangement. The contract is for technical engineering, scientific analytical studies, management support and program support services to support various programs of the Carderock, Dahlgren, and Indian Head Divisions of the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Work will be performed in Bethesda, Md. (35%), Burtonsville, Md. (30%), Dahlgren, Va. (25%), and Indian Head, Md. (10%), and is expected to be completed by February 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $25,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through a Small Business set-aside competition with 76 proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Div., Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-99-D-0015).

Raytheon Systems Co., Naval and Maritime Systems Div., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,471,143 cost-plus-award-fee letter contract for a ship self-defense systems (SSDS) MK-2 equipment shipset in support of CVN 69. The SSDS implements improved ship self-defense capabilities against high-speed, low-flying anti-ship cruise missiles for selected non-AEGIS ships. The SSDS design integrates several existing and programmed anti-air warfare stand-alone systems, providing an automated quick response and multi-target engagement capability with emphasis on performance in a littoral environment. SSDS MK-2 incorporates advanced combat direction system functionality and the integration of the cooperative engagement capability on CVN and LPD ship classes. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (90%), and Portsmouth, R.I. (10%), and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-99-C-5108).

Veridian, Veda Operations, Alexandria, Va, is being awarded a $1,692,050 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technical and financial support services for Security Assistance/Foreign Military Sales (SA/FMS) to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command FMS program office. These services will include planning, financial management

and executing of command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) FMS programs including pre-case, case execution and general program management support. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $8,774,635. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by January 2004. This contract was competitively procured through the world wide web and one offer was received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-99-C-3145).

AIR FORCE

Textron Systems Corp., Wilmington, Mass., is being awarded a $93,731,031 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive contract to provide for 300 CBU-97A/B Sensor Fused Weapons, 144 BLU-108B Joint Standoff Weapons, 60 CBU-97A/B Wind Corrected Munitions Dispensers, and associated warranties. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 2001. Negotiation completion date was Jan. 25, 1999. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-99-C-0008-P00002).

Analytic Services, Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $12,379,504 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for 33 research staff members to perform analytical and technical support services for the Joint Strike Fighter Program management Office through September 2001. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2001. Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (F49620-94-C-0028-P00018).

TASC, Inc., Reading, Mass., is being awarded a $12,500,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for logistics technology research and development in support of the Crew Survivability and Logistics Division, Human Effectiveness Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. There were 19 firms solicited and three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 29, 2004. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 14, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 13, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-99-D-6001).

ARMY

TRW/Systems & Information Technology Group, Albuquerque, N.M. is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity firm-fixed-price contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order with a base year total of $5,280,846, and a cumulative total $28,880,557 if all options are exercised. The project is to provide quick turnaround analytic support for the Army Research Institute. Work will be performed in various CONUS and OCONUS Army Training Facilities (40%) and Albuquerque, N.M. (60%) and is expected to be completed by Jan 27, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 bids solicited on Aug 21, 1998, and three bids received. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, DC. (DASW01-99-D-0013).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Sevenson Environmental Services, Inc.*, Niagara Falls, New Jersey, was awarded on Jan 29, 1999, a $11,599,269 firm-fixed-price contract for streets remediation and restoration at the Montclair/Glen Ridge Radium sites. Work will be performed in Essex County, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 1, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract solicited on Oct. 15, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Engineer District, Kansas City, Mo., (DACW41-98-D=9016).
