AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $12,895,545 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for development and test of software for retrofit of eight E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft and in-line incorporation for two aircraft. This effort will insure that these JSTARS aircraft are not affected by any Year 2000 related software problems. Expected contract completion date is May 1999. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 1, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Feb. 10, 1999. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-96-C-0021-P00033).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., was awarded on Feb. 9, 1999, a $6,429,931 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for three lots of Out of Production Parts in support of the F-22 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-0030-P00005).

NAVY

Analysis and Technology, Inc., California, Md., is being awarded a $5,231,400 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, time and materials contract for training support services to provide specialized management, engineering, technical, educational, analyst and logistic expertise to the Naval Air Systems Command's Aviation Training Systems Program Office. Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md., and is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 65 proposals solicited, four offers received, and two awards. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-99-D-1324).
