DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Alliant Foodservice, Alburquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $5,400,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for full line food distribution. One hundred twenty-four proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 4, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-2922).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Launching Systems, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $40,650,593 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5363 to provide for fabrication, assembly, test, and ancillary hardware in support of the MK 41 vertical launching system for the government of South Korea under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Lockheed Martin will award a major subcontract to United Defense Limited Partnership, Minneapolis, Minn. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md. (58%); Aberdeen, S.D. (37%); and Minneapolis, Minn. (5%), and is expected to be completed by July 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin, Corp., Information Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded an $8,002,721 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0222 to exercise an option for six consolidated automated support systems (CASS) for the governments of Australia (three systems) and Kuwait (three systems) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. CASS is a suite of automated test equipment designed to diagnose and repair complex weapon system electronics. Work will be performed in Americus, Ga. (90%), and Orlando, Fla. (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

LGA, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $ 6,854,587 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangement for research and development of advanced technologies for human and information system interaction infrastructure. Work will

be performed in Fairfax, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively solicited through the Commerce Business Daily. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-99-D-8603).

AIR FORCE

National Forge Corp., Irvine, Pa., is being awarded a $9,507,900 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 205 bomb cases and associated data applicable to the GBU28 Paveway III laser-guided bomb. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 2000. Negotiation completion date was Oct. 28, 1998. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-98-C-0150-P00001).

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $5,937,146 ($2,978,573, government share; $2,968,573, contractor share) cost-share-type-technology-investment-agreement to provide for prototype development and demonstration of gas turbine combustor authority technology that will control reactive flows and improve turbine engine temperature uniformity. This was a Broad Agency Announcement; there were 63 proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Feb. 26, 2002. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 17, 1997. Negotiation completion date was Feb. 16, 1999. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98-2-2903).

ARMY

United Defense Limited Partnership, Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara, Calif., is being awarded a $20,864,949 firm-fixed-price contract for 306 M1068 Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) conversion kits. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 30, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-98-G-X002).

Stanford Telecommunications Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $10,396,965 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise contract Options 1, 2, and 3 for Replacement Satellite Configurations Control Elements. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 27, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-95-C-A004).

Bear Brothers Inc., Montgomery, Ala., is being awarded a $15,401,000 increment as part of a $15,485,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of Officers Training School Student Dormitories, Basic Officers Training School Student Dormitories, and an Officers Training School Dining Facility. The student dormitories consist of two matching three-story, 90-room dorm buildings constructed of a cast-in-place concrete frame and concrete floor slabs. The 600-1,000 person dining facility consists of a steel framed roof structure with concrete tile roofing, concrete masonry load-bearing walls and concrete slab on grade. Site work for both facilities will include demolition of existing airfield pavement, utilities, paving and landscaping. Work will be performed at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 98 bids solicited on Nov. 12, 1998, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala. (DACA01-99-C-0022).
