AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $5,200,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 65 test sets applicable to the electronic system on the F-15 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 2003. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F41608-93-C-0064-P00083).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $32,000,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for continuation of Phase 2 of the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources program in support of engineering and manufacturing development of the F-22 aircraft. This effort involves redesign of 18 avionics components to insure continued procurement. Expected contract completion date is June 30, 1999. Solicitation issue date was Feb. 25, 1999. Negotiation completion date was March 19, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-91-C-0006-P00394).

ARMY

Boeing North American Inc., Electronic Systems & Missile Defense, Anaheim, Calif., is being awarded a $1,021,995 increment as part of an $8,200,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee letter contract for Atmospheric Interceptor Technology (AIT) Advanced Master Frequency Generator (A-MFG). This is a producibility improvement effort to provide an A-MFG to the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Project office suitable for insertion into PAC-3's full rate production program. The program will focus primarily on reducing the cost of the current MFG without degrading performance. Work will be performed in Anaheim, Calif., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 4, 1998. The U.S. Army Space & Strategic Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala., is the contracting activity (DASG60-99-C-0004).

NAVY

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $5,609,720 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0054 to exercise an option for the procurement of various components for the production of the V-22 aircraft. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50%), and Fort Worth, Texas (50%), and is expected to be completed by March 2000. These contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
